Olivier moved from Montreal to Whistler in 1992 after getting a degree in fine art. Since then he has been pursuing the dual life of professional snowboarder and artist. His portfolio contains commercial work for companies in the USA, Europe and Asia and in recent years Olivier has been focusing on fine art and painting larger canvases, murals and live painting. Inspired by the dramatic West Coasts scenery and active lifestyle he leads, Olivier enjoys exploring subject matter and painting technique with every new piece. He has been part of numerous galleries and group shows. He had his first solo exhibit in the fall of 2009 at Le Centre in Vancouver and is now represented by the House of Rts Gallery in Squamish. Currently, he spends his time between Montreal and Squamish working as an artist, freelance graphic designer and snowboard coach.
